Charcoal Portrait
Some of my students are focusing on studying and drawing portraits from famous historical artists. This week we drew from a portrait of a woman drawn by John William Waterhouse. Using the sightsize method, my student did a drawing of a woman in charcoal on toned charcoal paper. Excellent! Scroll through the slideshow to see the finished portrait drawing.
